St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Winston Salem, NC has called the Rev. Ginny
Wilder as rector. Ginny, who is John and Ginga Wilder’s daughter, was
raised in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Summerville. She was active in
parish and diocesan youth ministries prior to her college years. She has
served several times as a supply priest for Good Shepherd. Ginny is
currently serving as associate rector at Trinity and Old Swedes Episcopal
Churches, Wilmington, DE. Her first Sunday at St. Anne’s will be September
24th.
St. Anne’s Episcopal Church was established during the Civil Rights era in
response to the congregation’s robust call to support social justice
ministry as a faith community. Their website says, “…St. Anne’s continues
to be an energetic and welcoming faith community seeking to live into the
Gospel by loving one another and accepting people where they are regardless
of identity, labels, and backgrounds.” Let us rejoice and pray for St.
Anne’s and for Ginny Wilder as they join together to hear and follow Christ.
Alleluia,
Ginga Wilder
Ginny's Mom
