My co-worker's son died last night in hospital.  He'd been declared brain dead, and while they were formally deciding to remove the breathing tube, his heart stopped.

I'd been hoping to pick said brain about where he'd been while he was gone.  Oh well.

Please pray for his soul, and the comfort of his mother (Teresa), whom I heard it from directly not long ago when I tried calling her landline again.  The fact that she was even home, made me wonder.  And now I know.

Our office isn't exactly the height of dysfunction these days (it's been worse, both before and after my advent there), but bad enough.  And through it all, we "lifers" have kept a thread of "family" going no matter what.
