[Magdalen] LA/California fires

We had our own brush fire which was quickly contained at three acres but prompted evacuations at Amgen and some other companies.
The air quality is poor due to the huge Thomas fire to our west in the city of Ventura. As far as I know, that fire is still zero percent contained and is larger than 50,000 acres.
We’re one city, Camarillo, away from that fire and 800 feet up from the coastal plain. Most of that grade is dry brush.
Our caregiver during the day lives in the evacuation area and, of course, didn’t show up. The caregiver company loaned us one of their office workers for two hours and we had a brunch. Later, our evening caregiver, who lives in Camarillo, showed up and we had dinner.
It’s going to be dicey if we’re ordered to evacuate and we have no caregiver. I can drive, but wouldn’t want to in a mass evacuation. I’d have to find a driver.
