[Magdalen] LA/California fires

I'm only now really following the SoCal fires, and my God, what a time the world's living through.  This morning's live MSNBC coverage with Jacob Soberoff showed firefighters on someone's backyard balcony fighting it from one direction, and way down below a neighbor doing the same with his water hose, all in hopes of preventing it from heading further uphill where more homes are, and, of course, being uphill, more wind.
