Yes, MSWord (at least, MSWord 2010, which is what I have) will open
WordPerfect files. Also, WordPerfect will save and read files in MSWord
format - .doc and .docx. Of course, if you have complicated formatting in
the file, the conversion may not be perfect.

My question is whether folks who have Word can open WP documents? If not, it
would be pretty useless, IMO.
