It's no fun losing a wallet, mine was returned within a few weeks intact except for the cash after I had changed all the cards, Fortunately I walked to the credit union immediately upon entering the building and got the process started and withdrew cash from the account.

Ever since that event I have had a wallet with a chain that attaches to my belt.This is a huge annoyance. It certainly avoids the wallet going any farther than the length of the chain.
