I've found that a big part of the "hard sell" on insurance is them telling you that your car will remain in rental status until it gets "back from the shop" and that most insurance companies do not pay that. I think I checked with both my carrier and my biz credit card who affirmed that they would cover it. Hopefully I'll not have to ever find out the nitty gritty details because I'm sure it's harder to navigate than the typical accident with ones own personal vehicle. Thankfully it's seen decades since I was involved in an accident.
