He said he'd be back when he got electricity back.  Probably is on a 
laptop at home and it was running out of battery charge when he posted 
that. I don't know where you and Australia are on the dateline 
complication, but it's Friday night in the continental US, which means 
that he won't be back to the office in the small area that still has 
(had?) power until Monday, unless they need him there for the weather 
emergency, and I get the impression that his flood plain work doesn't 
deal with emergencies, just routine.  I gather he's not in a 
life-threatening sort of situation from the storm, except that Ev's life 
is threatened by boredom.
