Two things have been uppermost in my mind since the election, and especially during the last month.

1)  The now-no-longer appropriate word "imbecile" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imbecile )

and

2)  A certain billboard from 2009:  "Miss me yet?"  (The answer, unfortunately, is, Yes.)
