What I didn't state clearly is that no one seems to talk about back in the day when seeing totally veiled and clothed - in- black nuns was a relatively common occurrence that was accepted without fanfare.
They might have been mocked by some but I doubt there was ever any thought of nefarious deeds or even suspicion.
... there was that famous bank robbery where the bad guys dressed as nuns (even that did not tarnish their image!).
