Sounds as though this may be the choir singing in situ in the  Cathedral
for a prayer service.  Much as I agree with your sentiments in  general, I
think if it's only a prayer service in the choirs "home" this could  be
permitted.
 
IOW the choir is not singing FOR Trump in this liturgical setting.   They
are doing their part to worship God.
