[Magdalen] What are we reading?

One intriguing book that I am chipping away at is Conradi, Peter, "Who Lost 
Russia: How the World Entered a New Cold War." and complicity on the US part. 
Seems fair, and drags a lot of stuff I missed or never knew. 
Otherwise the usual mysteries and adventures, a little sf.
