[Magdalen] Canadian takeover?

I already knew that the Governor of the Bank of England is a Canadian. 
Then I saw a news report of a Canadian being the first female infantry 
officer to command the Guard at Buckingham and St James's Palaces. 
Finally I saw a clip about our Information Commissioner, and she's a 
Canadian as well. Are we being subject to reverse colonisation? ;-)
