[Magdalen] A bit of SC Episcopal Church History

Thanks, Eleanor.  I am no longer in parish-wide leadership, but I am active
in lay ministry of my choosing.  We have grown and thankfully, others have
come among us to do parish leadership.  I chair the adult formation program
and do pastoral visiting as the need arises.  This Sunday, I'm taking
communion from the altar to a couple, both of whom have cancer.  I have a
few months left on my term on Standing Committee.  Participating in the
piecing parts together again of the diocese and also the parish has been a
joy of my life, a real privilege.  I liken it to having a baby in old age.
I am so grateful.
