Renee,

I trust you got my reply from my regular email about how to submit your
application for GBEC. The Joint Standing Committee welcomes a broad sample
of interested persons. I cannot, of course, guarantee you will be nominated
until we see how many applicants we have, but we strive to nominate twice
the number to be elected so there's a good chance if you get the
application in.
