[Magdalen] prayers for little Wilson...

The only other advice I have is that Wilson *may* be able to tolerate
popsicles as the cold has a sort of anesthetic effect. Our Sam had herpetic
stomatitis when he was about 7 and was miserable with blisters in his mouth
and throat. He wasn't eating or drinking and the pediatrician asked him if
he would rather go into the hospital and get an IV and not worry about it.
Sam's experience with hospitals was somewhat less than happy and he managed
to get out "I'll drink." The doctor showed him how much he'd have to drink
each hour while he was awake and then told him that was about half a
popsicle. We stopped by the store and bought a big box of popsicles on the
way home. <g> He did pretty well with them. Wilson might too.
