[Magdalen] Thanks

I have loved watching clergy friends retire
only to find the ministry they wanted all along.
The church of my childhood made a brilliant move.
The Youth Minister wasn’t a callow, anxious seminarian,
but a retired priest, endlessly patient and perpetually delighted.
Another friend is running about six book discussion groups,
reconciling more people to God and mankind
than she ever could when saddled with fundraising, appeasement
and administrative work.
Great good luck with this, Ann.
