And talking of Presiding Bishops, I'm currently organizing a service at
the tiny church at Little Gidding, where former PB Frank Griswold will
preside at the Eucharist and preach on Saturday 2 December, the
commemoration of Nicholas Ferrar.

I've met Bishop Frank once before, also at Little Gidding, when he
attended the annual Little Gidding Pilgrimage in 2015 when it was led by
former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams. Very memorably I drove the
two of them back to Cambridge -- not very often I can claim to have had
two former Primates in my car. The three of us reminisced about our first
visits to LG.

This time he will be coming with his wife Phoebe and a small group of his
friends, celebrating his lifelong love of Little Giding, which he first
visited in the early 1960s.
