OTOH, David, I think that Francis is trying to pry Vatican2 back into the
life of the church as it was envisioned lo those many decades ago. The US RC
church, in particular, has reinvented themselves in many places into a 21C
version of the 1950s and continue to view this council that rocked the
religious world, of all mainline denominations who called the RC home until
post Reformation, a council for all the Church, not just the RC church.

When I stand before God at the end of my life I would hope that I have not a
single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything You gave me."

to that fear and hatred." Mark Singel
