[Magdalen] Silence

I, too, have noticed the dearth of posts from Magdalen, have been busy with
nothing and everything. We have a literary series here called "Babel," and
Thursday a group of us saw Terry Tempest Williams. It's not really a
"reading," but rather more like a talk and then questions and answers and
free-ranging discussion. This one was slightly disappointing; I like it
when the discussion gets a little more "meta-" overarching cultural issues,
or more spiritual, for example. But I'm always glad to go, because I love
putting new ideas into my head. Also saw "Marshall" on Friday, and enjoyed
that.

I also do volunteer work at the Himalayan Institute (yoga, ayurveda,
Eastern thought place), still do my yoga classes 3 times a week, Sunday and
Wednesday church work, AA. Have been reading, writing, and being a little
more creative in my own little ways. Am in a women's study group on Jung'so
thought. Broke my desktop computer, and now do all my computer work on my
phone or iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard and printer, when needed.

My life feels rich and happy right now, though it would be nice to have a
"gentleman caller." Tentatively planning another European trip for next
fall.
