I gather another name for that service is AOHell and that they do not follow industry standards in some matters. They probably did a good job in getting America On Line but it seems they may have lost the plot somewhere along the way.

I subscribed to AOL when I first moved to Atlanta They changed me without requesting it back to Windows 3 from Windows 4. I left AOL never to return. I have other services, but I still subscribe to Earthlink as you can see by my email (mindspring.)
