[Magdalen] Question for Texas friends

Thanks, Lynn, I did google the parish, and the Iona School, but didn't glean much. That probably means there is nothing angry or virulent there. None of the code words that set off alarms. The parish looks middlish and probably friendly. I'm taking the fact that you haven't heard anything about them or their rector as a positive.

Hi Carol - I know not of Keith + but the Iona school is a "seminary" homegrown on Dio of tx, originally for deacons, then for non stipendary priests and now for some priests who are unable to attend regular seminary. Google it. Must be info out there. Takes place at Camp Allen on a quarterly basis. Lynn On Sep 7, 2017, at 10:01 PM, Andre and Carol wrote: Can anyone tell me anything about the Rev. Keith Giblin, who is rector of St Paul's, Orange, and a Federal Judge in Beaumont? He has been a judge for many years, and only recently ordained. I read an article about him from the Houston Chronicle, sent by my son-in-law, and he sounds like a fine fellow indeed, but son-in-law wants to know if he is known to lean either right or left, and thus more pro-management or pro-labor on legal quesrions. What sort of parish is St Paul's? And what is the Iona School of Ministry like? Any information you can give me will be much appreciated. Carol T Sent from XFINITY Connect Mobile App ----
