No, Jim--this wasn't just on the register lady. The child was sent to the office, and the police were called from there. Apparently none of the folks involved had ever seen a $2 bill. (And, actually, I can't remember the last time I saw one; they mostly seem to have disappeared from circulation.) But to arrest a middle school student, who probably wouldn't know one way or another??
