[Magdalen] A Fib

My cardiologist called this morning to report that the heart monitor showed
I have A Fib. He thought this might be the case. (Nuclear stress test and
also echo cardiogram were both normal.) I will begin Eliquis today and be
fine by nighttime!

I am not glad to have this diagnosis, but I am glad to know what is causing
my annoying and sometimes frightening symptoms. I have several friends who
also have A Fib - some have responded to treatment and others have not.
Everyone seems well, so I am anticipating a very good result.

I must add for those who know me well. I had convinced myself that I was
just being a hypochondriac and making much up. I have a congenital
arrhythmia and have had the chest discomfort, dizziness and excessively
elevated blood pressure on and off throughout my adulthood. No heart study
has ever shown anything but I've only worn a heart monitor one other time
in my early 30s which showed nothing. Thankful for good doctors with
modern machinery to pick this up. I am not a hypochondriac after all, AND
neither am I an invalid. This is treatable. I'll be feeling better real
soon!!

Whoopee! Thanks for praying me through this. All shall be well!
