Thoroughly reviewed and edited by my Union team. And how! Anyone familiar with Christopher Guest's "For Your Consideration" knows that my "Home for Purim" has been considerably remolded! (I'm still there, though.)

Dear Executive Management Team:
Upon further and deep reflection, I have decided to write you to request that my resignation of July 31, 2018, be rescinded, and that I be reinstated to my former position of Water Resources Technician at the Agency. The circumstances leading to my resignation date back to March 2018 and my decision to go on medical (stress) leave for what amounted to a period of four months. What I have not had the occasion to relate is that during the final few weeks of my leave, I experienced a relapse of my vasculitis, essentially attributable to mounting anxiety related to my return in July. And after my return during the remaining weeks of July, the relapse worsened, such that I had to consult with my Stanford[*] specialist under whose care I am, and he confirmed that the sort of stress I'd been under, and was still under, is a major cause of relapses with such autoimmune disorders.
I have worked at the Agency for over 25 years, working my way up from Temporary Typist Clerk II to permanent status in that classification, to Senior Typist Clerk, and then, via skills seen and affirmed by one of the then Assistant General Managers, the ultimate promotion to Water Resources Technician in 2003. I have definitely enjoyed my time working at the Agency and upon reflection I realize that, in light of my many years at the Agency during which staff worked together to support each other through good times and hard times, I was mistaken to think that the only way to address my stress was to resign.
In summary, I would like you to understand that I submitted my resignation under duress and I would like to, again, express my desire to rescind my resignation and be reinstated to the position of Water Resources Technician at the Agency.
I thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
M J (Mike) Logsdon
