Nothing new, actually, other than the fact that tomorrow marks one full week since I submitted my letter requesting re-instatement to my position at the Water Resources Agency.  My next to-last former boss (who was not perfect by any means, but let the record show I actually asked him for a job recently), if he taught me anything, he taught me that "a letter received is a letter responded to".  So, so true.

I'm sorry for what amounts to digital blubbering tonight.  I'm just not feeling all that hopeful of late, considering how I'm fairly sure the only one standing between me getting my job back and not, is the soul-less general manager.  (Who, believe it or don't, actually wanted a position in Trump's administration ... EARLY ON.  How well I recall the monthly campaign checks he would mail prior to that day even Tramp didn't expect in early Nov 2016.  I recently told my old friend his secretary that if I get blown off, to tell him [his initials are DC, yes, also, believe it or don't] I'll see him in hell.  I was in a good mood.  :-P  )
