Fond du Lac is no longer lacy. It's splendid bishop, Matt Gunter, is an
intelligent moderate, credally orthodox and socially liberal.

Western NY has asked Sean Rowe to be its provisional bishop. He shared
himself with Bethlehem until recently. Wester Kansas now has a part time
bishop, who is also part time Vicar of two missions and a prosecuting
attorney.

As we continue to dwindle, these anomalies will probable become the norm.
Smaller dioceses can't afford bishops.
