I'm in the process of making Christmas Eve shredded carnitas flautas with rice and beans (I forgot the sour cream, dammit).

But I wanted to express my love to you all.  I'm well overdue for an update, that I'll be sending soon.  The sense of uncertainty about the near future has had me all in a dander, but I still feel generally okay, thanks to you all, and my books and records (and a new phonograph coming soon, for which I've been scrambling to make sure there's a good new, if needed, needle for).

Thanks for dealing with me all these years.  And thanks in advance for dealing with the rolling billows to come.

I think midnight brings Christmas Eve Mass from St Peter's, which I plan on watching, if I don't forget.
