An alternative we used for my mother's funeral is the In Paradisium from the
Requiem Mass texts.

This was also chanted by the choir at music consultant, Mason Marten's funeral.
The coffin was slowly rolled down the main church aisle, and the final habeas
requiem was timed with the closing of the inner church doors.  It was a beautiful moment.

In paradisum deducant angeli;
in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyrus
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Jerusalem.

Chorus angelorum te suscipat
et cum Lazaro, quondam paupere,
aeternam habeas requiem.

May the angels lead you into paradise;
at your coming may the martyrs receive you
and lead you to the holy city of Jerusalem.

May the chorus of angels receive you
and with Lazarus, once poor,
may you have eternal rest.

Actually, to have it read sensitively as the coffin is being processed out can be very affecting. (That is an option in the Aussie Prayer Book.) Almost better than having it sung or chanted.
