Ha! In your message, Ann, was what I needed to do to move one from A to B. Thank you!

At the top of the page of an open message there’s an icon of a folder (or
on my iPad, 3 dots in the upper right corner). Clicking on it makes a list
of your folders come up. Clicking on the desired folder moves the message
to that folder. To move several you get on the inbox list and click on the
icon on the left, in front of one or more of the messages, then click on
the folder at the top (or the 3 dots), and they’ll all move to the selected
folder. That’s how mine works, anyway. For a lot, lot, lot you can go to
something like the filters, set up a filter (like any mail with Magdalen in
the subject header), and it will ask, “Do you want to move 10,000 (or
however many are there) emails to this folder?” If you click yes, it will
sort them all out for you.
