[Magdalen] Ice and Snow along GA & SC

I *almost* wish we had a snow day here. Sunny and bitter cold instead. Glad
for that, but it would be *sort of* nice to have a forced break from
business-as-usual. I'm fighting for the time to go with my dear partner
today to get our marriage license and tomorrow to get married so he can be
enrolled in benefits again. He's flying uninsured right now thanks to both
of our jobs keeping us from having time during the day to do these things.
Had to get clear about it with some colleagues today that these
appointments cannot be put off any longer.
