When our local Presbyterian church (a deeply historied thing in Salinas, with nothing but good things said about it -- I was even a member there for a very short period of time after I got saved from the SoBaptConv) re-made itself into a mega-church with no resemblance to the original, even in its "traditional" service, and had ever-growing disputes with the San Jose Presbytery, it at least had the decency to totally remove any use of the word "Presbyterian" from its existence (other than "formerly First Presbyterian Church" in small print when and only when needed) once it joined http://compasschurchmc.com/ .  (Reason given by the pastor in the Monterey County Weekly a few years ago?  Seems the Presbyterian Church USA no longer follows Jesus Christ in the pursuit of salvation.)
