Not Baroque, but I saw the Mozart's "Magic Flute" at the Fenice Opera House in Venice once.
The House is an architectural gem, which, as I recall, was rebuilt after a major fire in the 90's.
An architectural magazine to which I subscribe had a quiz once as to what were
professional architects' favorite buildings. I came out 1 or 2 with most of them
when I voted Rome's Pantheon for 1 and Santa Maria della Salute in Venice for 2.
And not a drip of Italian blood in me!
