[Magdalen] R.I.P. My brother David Knitter

Thanks again, my friends. I'm still stunned but am grateful he didn't seem
to have an episode of suffering. His death may have been due to something
even he hadn't known about, like a heart condition or critical brain
problem/stroke, but I'm not sure there will be an autopsy. Whatever it was,
it seems clear he didn't expect to die nor feel as though he was dying.
Something was going on with the dizziness and fluid retention, but who
knows what caused what. A mutual friend said she had been chatting with
Dave via Facebook just last night and there was no clue.

I'm also glad he had this recent extended time of relative happiness and
stability in his life. He had been granted Social Security disability and
was engaged in some hobbies that gave him much joy.

Eerie that a parishioner and I yesterday were talking about sudden deaths
of some particular composers at a young age.
