At every General Convention we elect members of a Joint Nominating
Committee for the Election of a Presiding Bishop to serve a three year
term. This committee only really comes into operation every third trienium
when we actively planing for such an election, but there is always a
committee in place in case of an unanticipated event. It is still an honor
to be elected to it even in the off years.

This afternoon our listsib, Meg Wagner, was elected as the clergy member of
this committee from Province VI, which I thought you should all know.
