[Magdalen] Update on my eye (TBTG) and other stuff

I saw the ophthalmologist yesterday and he took out the amniotic patch.
After 8 days of discomfort, blurry, vision, and gunky eyes, the holes in my
cornea have HEALED! Thanks be to God! And as my daughter said, God bless
the mama and baby who donated the bit of tissue that made this possible.
Such a thing was unheard of when I was having my babies or I would have
done the same. The doctor says I am completely cleared to do whatever I
like and that I should wear my contacts as much as possible to protect the
cornea. I do not need to go back to see him unless I develop problems.

I am now playing a desperate game of catch-up as regards the jewelry side
of things. I have not been able to get fully involved in my work at all
this spring. I had just gotten free of my hand therapist when the eye
problem developed. In addition, we had a flood in the basement where my
jewelry studio is from which we are only now getting cleaned up. Flooding
was due to a  leak in a pipe which required the assist of a plumber but
which thoroughly wetted the carpeting down there and encouraged a nice
growth of mold which we are now attempting to dispatch with
mold-killer....both of which are a bit hard on the sinuses and lungs. I
have an event--not a full-fledged show, thank goodness--on June 16 that I
need to be ready for. Prayers would be appreciated.
