[Magdalen] Readings?

Maybe not in Virginia, but in Anglo-Catholic circles, sure. The actual
feast day was celebrated locally at St.Clement's Church in Philadelphia on
Thursday evening. I'm sure they did an over-the-top ceremony, but I wasn't
there. I have been in the past though.
