So sorry, Allan. It is always hard to lose a beloved family member, no
matter how many legs they have.
Perhaps you might consider an older dog who might be more calm and
certainly would appreciate being taken into a new home. My parents adopted
an 11-year-old Schipperke and he had 5 wonderful years with them. After he
went to Rainbow Bridge they were so lost that my brother found them a sweet
almost 4 year old pug who was the light of their lives. In the last picture
of my dad, she is lying on the bed with him.
