Since it’s the 150th anniversary of our first service of divine worship,
we celebrated using the 1844 BCP today.

I admit to having done a bit of eye-rolling on the way over,
but it wasn’t bad at all.

Made me gratefully remember Fr. Dunn and Fr. Hodgins, the priests of my
childhood.

Thought briefly of the Prayer Book Wars of the 1980s.
God, what a waste of energy and time.
