What about that nightmare 10" of rain along the California coast
on areas that have been burned over in the severe, endless fires
this winter?  There is already the suggestion that large areas of
that State be evacuated in anticipation.
 
And we here in the Pennsylvania Poconos are worried about
a piddly 4 - 8 inches of snow, depending on the elevation!.
