Because that Rite is very male dominated.  Thank:  The church in general
100 years ago.  Women's issues don't exist there.
 
The Tridentines have exquisite music and liturgy, but terrible politics.  Believe me
I wasn't there because I agreed with their retro attitudes.  It was a chance to sing
wonderful music, and I treasured it.  When the Liturgy was over, I bolted out the
