[Magdalen] Taxes???

Massachusetts also taxes vehicles. They call it an "excise tax" and it's 
been around for many, many years. Not a huge amount (I remember paying 
$50-75 or so) and it is based on the Blue Book value, so at least it goes 
down over time.

No state taxes in Tennessee, but the sales tax is ridiculous.

VA has state income tax, sales tax, county taxes of all sorts, *including*
they charge me a property tax on my 12 year old vehicle, which I think is
beyond ridiculous!
