[Magdalen] How's everyone?

Ginga,

Glad to hear that you are well. Several things you mentioned struck a chord
for me. First is that I may be looking at a cataract operation myself. The
vision in my left eye is very poor and cloudy even with my glasses. It's
distinctly worse than the right eye. Secondly, I was at the Province 3
Synod Sunday-Tuesday and had some conversation about Ginny with her former
rector, Patty Downing. We are both said how happy we were for Ginny and
Barbie. Patty was elected to Executive Council during our meeting. Last,
but definitely not least, you (meaning the EC in SC) really might want to
be in contact with the good folks in the Diocese of Pittsburgh who suffered
much of the same troubles and have rebounded nicely. They've recently
managed to come to some agreements with the breakaway group about property,
etc. that might provide a model for you to look at.

Thanks for the conversation starter.
