[Magdalen] how I hate this weather

I led Evening Prayer and served at Mass this evening for the Presentation
of the BVM in the Temple (one of our extra-BCP feast observances). Picked
up a large pumpkin pie at "da Jewel" and was also tasked with procuring a
can of "real cream" Reddi Whip. Had to phone home to ask where I should
look for that (I didn't want to ask the staff and felt silly not knowing).
Same fridge as the milk. What they had left was stuck waaay back on the
friidge shelf, so I had to fashion a tool out of a long can of Pam (again,
shy about asking the staff).

Dear Spouse decides at 10:15 p.m. that we're going to 10 a.m. Mass at our
church downtown. I reserve the right to spend the holiday morning at home,
praying Morning Prayer and not rushing to get on the road (or train). We
could go to our neighborhood parish instead, which I need to mention to
him. They've got a spiffy new website as well...
