That is another controversial issue since the requirement to produce 
government issued photo ID will disenfranchise some voters.This will 
disproportionately affect those from the poorer parts of society, most 
of whom would vote for the Democratic candidates. You also have one 
state (North Carolina?) whose congressional district map (presumably 
drawn up after the 2010 Census) has been ruled illegal because of its 
gerrymandering. However they will still use it this year because there 
apparently isn't time to draw a fairer map.
