Richard you have my prayers!
10 years ago is another lifetime for you and the school - "mature" students are always desired ( their tuition $$ too).
Go for it with confidence, knowing that you have people rooting for you!
peace

Howdy all. Long-time lurker, very infrequent correspondent.
I've been working with computers and web programming for something like
fifteen or twenty years now, and I'm kind of tired of it. I love working
with information, but I'd also like to start working with people more.
After much research and consideration and prayer, it seems that
librarianship seems like a good fit for me. So I've applied to the MLIS
program at San Jose State University.
I should note that if I get in, this will be the second time I've started
library school at that particular program. First time around, more than ten
years ago, I was in a deep depressive state (pre-medication), and
eventually I dropped out. So I'm not too optimistic about getting in again.
So I ask for your prayers that I can get in again.
Thanks.
Love to you all.
