She's actually floating on her gilded corbel at the high point of my "cathedral"ceiling.  I got to know some of the Oberammergau wood carvers when I livedin Germany, and got a real deal on a nearly life-sized wooden Virgin and Child in polychrome.She is riding the crescent moon as is appropriate.
