[Magdalen] Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas from sunny Keyworth in Robin Hood Country 
(Nottinghamshire, England). Although retired, I officiated at  a small 
church in a neighbouring village which is a parish of 6 churches which 
have been without a parish priest for 2 years. The rest of the day will 
be quiet. I have just had Christmas dinner and as usual for me at 
Christmas will enjoy being at home quiet and alone for tbe rest of the 
week, although I will be going out for walks. The busiest things will be 
bellringing - I was ringing for services last Sunday, practising on 
Monday, service ringing on Christmas eve and ringing again on Sunday and 
Monday.

It all seems very quiet after the rush of things before my retirement 
when I had responsibility for 8 small rural village parishes and their 
churches.
