Ages ago there was an SNL sketch about an intramural basketball game.
Elliott Gould played a rabbi, John Belushi the head of the K of C.
At the end of the game, everybody got together to sing Christmas Carols.
The Knights of Columbus could only sing the first line, then drifted off
into a kind of mumbling scat.
The rabbi knew every word.
