I, too am glad to hear from you all, As Marilyn said, many of you have
been important in my life.Thing are not easy here right now. My best
friend for the last 45 years is lingering with massive infections. She has
been in hospice care for about 2 months. I get to house most afternoons
and often she is disconnected from reality. Bill fell and broke his left
knee cap in June. He broke the other one 2 years ago. This later one has
seemed to age him significantly.
Enough of the sad stuff. At my parish we have a wonderful new rector. He
retired in the summer of '17 and came to us in November. He is kind,
caring and a bundle of energy. He works 1/2 time and is the first of our
part time priests to work more than he is contracted for.
I am healthy and grateful. I have discovered that Silver Sneakers is
included with our insurance and have access to all kinds of things that are
part of a fitness center nearby.
I am glad to be here. tho I don't post often.
